Types of Essays

An article is, in general, an essay that presents the author’s argument, but sometimes the definition is unclear, overlapping with that of an argumentative paper, an essay, a newspaper column, a book, and even a short narrative. An article can have a thesis statement, which will be a very clear argument presented completely in the style of an argument, or a list of applicable information, which will tend to support the author’s point of view.
